ZS Hudood Ordinance

The Zara sochiye Hudood ordinance campaigned against the negative aspects of the controversial and highly sensitive Hudood ordinance. It raised awareness, brought religious scholars of different sects (including the drafters of the original ordinance) on the same page. The campaign resulted in a paradigm change in thinking, the redrafting of the ordinance and deletion of several anti-women clauses.

Thousands of women incarcerated, were released from prison.
